English foundations
Letters, phonics, spelling, reading, in order.
Luminary Learn starts at the actual beginning. Letter recognition, phonics, spelling patterns, sight words, and reading comprehension, each building on genuine mastery of what came before. A child who truly knows their letters can learn phonics properly. A child who truly knows phonics can read.
Math foundations
Numbers, operations, and the confidence to go further.
Starting with number recognition and counting, Luminary Learn builds toward the four operations and beyond, at the pace the child sets. A child who truly understands addition can understand multiplication. One who doesn't yet can't, and rushing them doesn't fix that. Luminary Learn doesn't rush.
The philosophy
Gaps in foundational skills don't close on their own.
A child who doesn't truly know their letters can't learn phonics properly, they're guessing. A child who doesn't truly understand numbers can't learn arithmetic, they're memorizing procedures without understanding. These gaps compound over time.
Luminary Learn is designed around a simple idea: go back to the actual foundation, close the gap properly, and build from there. It's not fast. It's not exciting. But it works, and the confidence it builds in children who finally feel solid on something they've been shaky about is real.
This is designed to be used with a parent present, not handed to a child to use independently. It's a tool for the parent-child learning relationship, not a substitute for it.
