Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 30, 2026. This policy covers every Code Family app, including Silah. The short version: we don't collect anything, because our apps don't have servers to send your data to.
What we collect
Nothing. Code Family apps have no account system, no sign-up, and no login. We operate no servers that receive information about you or how you use our apps.
Where your data lives
Everything you enter, every count, record, or preference, is stored only on your own device. If you have iCloud enabled, that same data syncs privately through your own iCloud account, the same way Apple syncs your Photos or Notes. It never passes through any server we operate, because we don't operate any.
Analytics, ads, and tracking
- No analytics SDKs of any kind inside our apps
- No advertising networks
- No third-party trackers or fingerprinting
- No data broker relationships, ever
Our apps don't know who you are, how often you open them, or what you do inside them. There is nothing for us to see. (This website, codefamily.io, uses privacy-respecting Cloudflare analytics to understand traffic to this page, separate from our apps, which collect nothing at all.)
Permissions
Our apps request only the device permissions they need for a feature you explicitly use, and never more. Silah, for example, requests no permissions at all, no camera, microphone, location, contacts, or notifications access.
Purchases
Any one-time purchase in our apps is processed entirely by Apple's App Store using Apple's own payment system. We never see, receive, or store your payment information, Apple handles that relationship directly with you.
Children's privacy
Because our apps collect no data from anyone, they collect no data from children either.
Changes to this policy
If anything about how our apps work ever changes in a way that affects your privacy, this page will be updated before that change ships, and the date at the top will reflect it.
